This FREE training—offered prior to the start of the Oasis conference—will use conversation and case studies to cover:

  • power dynamics related to all forms of abuse;
  • best practices and policy considerations for protecting children and youth;
  • considerations for incorporating known sexual offenders into your church.

Attending this pre-conference, led by CBF's abuse prevention advocate Jay Kieve, meets the requirements for participation in the CBF Thriving Children grant initiative.

 A grant covers the cost of registration plus lodging on Monday night and all meals before the start of the Oasis conference (Monday supper, Tuesday breakfast and lunch)
